Ariescape’s New Partnership with Campsite+ – An Introduction and What It Means for Our Customers

Ariescape is proud to announce our latest adventure – our new partnership with the Caravan and Motorhome Club. The Caravan and Motorhome Club – an exclusive campsite provider with over 2,500 campsites across the UK and Europe – is the #1 rated touring club with over 1 million members.

The partnership means that any of our wonderful camper van hire customers will gain access to the Caravan and Motorhome Club Campsite+ member, which opens the motorhome doors to Club Campsites at member rates, saving each customer £15 per night of stay.

Before we let the excitement get the better of us, let’s begin the article and break down the new partnership and what it means for our customers.

The Caravan and Motorhome Club

You don’t have to listen to us – just check out the TrustPilot reviews of almost 11,500 customers.

Originating many moons ago, in 1907, as the Caravan Club, they quickly became Europe’s biggest campervan and motorhome touring community that proudly boasts over 1 million happy members – and you could be one of them.

In 2017, they changed their name to the now well-known The Caravan and Motorhome Club. The brand name refresh was a testement to their love of the great outdoors, opening their arms to people from far and wide who love nothing more than a good ol’ caravan or motorhome trip.

They’re such a prestigious organisation that they even have a shrine in The National Motor Museum at Beaulieu in the New Forest – you’ll find it as the historical archived called The Caravan Club Collection.

The club is known for providing excellent services to caravan, motorhome, and campervan lovers who simply want to spend their days outside in campsites designed for comfort…and unbeatable experiences. They’ve handpicked 150 Club sites (exclusive to Campsite+) and also have 2,700 campsites in total across the UK and Europe.

Campsite+ Membership Access for Our Customers

We wouldn’t just partner with anyone, and there’s a long list of reasons why we’re so excited to announce our partnership with The Caravan and Motorhome Club.

Aside from the extensive list of campsites and the growing list of Campsite+ Club sites, we believe we take it a step further and give our customers what we’ve always loved to do – incredible motorhome experiences at affordable prices. In addition to the up to £15 per night savings, you can also enjoy discounts on ferry and tunnel crossings if you fancy seeing what the delights of Europe have to offer.

And yes, although we would argue to the end that the best experiences are in Scotland (they really are), we can’t argue that Europe isn’t home to some (not all!) of the best campsites in the world.

At the Campsite+ campsites, our customers will also love the exclusive facilities provided by The Caravan and Motorhome Club. These include:

  • Free hot showers – it’s almost winter, this is a blessing!! Well…when doesn’t it feel like winter in the UK?! (only at campsites with shower facilities).
  • Electric hookups (excludes Wyatts Covert Club Campsite and Non-electric Economy pitches).
  • Free Wi-Fi at 146 UK Club campsites
  • Awnings are included at no extra cost.
  • Kids under 5 and dogs stay free.

Planning a Campsite+ Trip in The UK

As mentioned, there are 150 incredible Campsite+ campsites our memberships can enjoy when they hire one of our luxury motorhomes.

To help you plan the perfect Campsite+ trip in the UK, we’ve picked out our top two favourites:

Altnaharra Club Campsite

Of course, we had to start with a Scottish beauty – the Altnaharra Club Campsite in the Highlands.

Nestled on the shores of Loch Naver, you can enjoy an uninterrupted view of the stunning Ben Klibreck. It’s the type of location you go to escape from life, with the nearest shop being 20 miles away (don’t do the classic and forget your toothbrush!).

We’d say this is our top location for nature lovers and families wanting to be surrounded by completely unspoilt natural beauty, showcasing what Scotland is really about.

You can do everything from fly fishing to cruising along the smooth waters of Loch Naver on small rowing boats. Cape Wrath is also easy to reach by Ferry, or simply stroll the nearby hills of Ben Loyal.

Coed-Y-Llwyn Club Campsite

Heading down to Wales, you’ll find the equally as breathtaking Coed-Y-Llwyn Club Campsite in Gellilydan, Gwynedd. And thanks to the £850k investment in 2023, this campsite is now better than ever, which is why we’ve decided to include it on our list.

Aside from Scotland, you won’t find more stunning countryside than in Wales, and the Coed-Y-Llwyn Club Campsite is located right in the thick of the natural beauty in the lush surroundings of the Snowdonia National Park. It’s an absolute haven for campers who love the outdoors with a sprinkle of relaxation.

You have the luxury of venturing up Snowdon or taking a trip to Lake Bala for some watersports – and there’s so much more you can do that we could talk about. If that all sounds like too much, simply sit back, relax, and enjoy the glorious Welsh countryside.

Planning a Campsite+ Trip in Europe

Remember, with our new partnership and theCampsite+ perks, you can secure discounted ferry and channel tunnel crossing rates that open the doors to Europe.

We’ve done some research, and these are some of the campsites that we love the look of in Europe:

  • Playa Joyel, Noja, Spain
  • Villaggio dei Fiori, Sanremo, Italy
  • Lazy Rancho, Unterseen, Switzerland
  • Le Château de Drancourt, Estreboeuf, France

Note: These aren’t Campsite+ locations – there aren’t any Campsite+ locations in Europe. These are simply campsites we’ve found on The Caravan and Motorhome Club websites and we think our customers will love them.

We hope you’re as excited about our new partnership as we are. It doesn’t matter which of our Motorhomes you rent (we’d recommend the Etrusco T7400 or Etrusco A7300), our new partnership with The Caravan and Motorhome Club will give you the exclusive access to the Campsite+ benefits.
